Hi, I like this site. I will pass it along. If you haven't found out yet, the link Trail blazed with orange does loop until it turns left to go to Greenwood Furnace on top of Jacks Mountain at microwave towers. You turn right and descend on an unblazed road across private land. Hunting camps are on both sides of the road. Bear right on another road at Upper Jacks Spring. This trail is blazed with blue. Then bear left on an old woods road. The road bends around to the right until you are just above the Dinkey House. Then retrace your route down the Thousand Steps. I found this loop in the book 50 Hikes in Central Pennsylvania by Tom Thwaites. I haven't done this one yet but plan to soon. Susan Myers
