Erin and I took a much-needed hike around Gettysburg National Battlefield Park, and while it sprinkled a bit, the weather was nice.
Since the visitor's center has been moved/expanded/re-built, parking is not at all convenient. I always used to park near the Cyclorama, head toward The High Water Mark, down around the Round Tops, then back via the old railroad bed that comes out near The Loop and The Peach Orchard.
Since I wanted a shorter hike this time, we parked near the Pennsylvania Memorial, headed down to Devil's Den, walked past The Wheatfield and The Loop, then headed back toward Little Round Top and cut back to the Pennsylvania Memorial. All in all, I'd guess that would be about five miles. A nice leg stretcher.
